I collect and process your personal information (name, contact details, brief clinical notes and payment details) to provide psychoanalysis services, process payments and safeguard the welfare of yourself and others where necessary. I need to do this to keep track of our sessions as agreed to by you, or as needed for vital interests in safeguarding situations. I may share anonymised information with my supervisor, and with your consent (or where legally required) with your GP, other healthcare professionals, or regulatory bodies like the UKCP. Your financial data may be shared with my accountant. I keep clinical and financial records for 7 years. You have the right to access your records, request corrections, ask for deletion where legally permitted, restrict or object to processing, and withdraw consent where applicable. I may maintain this data in the UK or in Germany or in both as I travel and work between the two locations.
